There is always a common opinion that separating the case of the Model F/AT Keyboard is never an easy, and always feels like something is going to break! So I did a small video of me splitting the case which hopefully you will find useful. There are a few other videos on Youtube where the F/AT is being dismantled but either they glance over this part, or make it look like it’s an absolute struggle.
I think, if honest, the bit which people probably feel is most difficult is the clips at the front of the keyboard, as they need the cases to be at around 35° angle before you can wiggle the clips free with some slight persuasion. Maybe I’m lucky though and have one which is really easy to take apart? Who knows!
